Adachi asks his friend and romance-novelist, Tsuge, for advice on his predicament. At work, Adachi uses his power to help Kurosawa. They have an awkward exchange while out drinking with their coworkers.

Adachi learns that despite his outward composure, Kurosawa has underlying anxiety, which Adachi finds relatable. After an awkward experience in a sauna, Kurosawa reflects on how he came to develop a crush on Adachi. Adachi tells Kurosawa that being around him has helped him to develop self-confidence.
