CeCe's work on the 1996 rape and murder of an 18-year-old in Idaho leads police to the potential killer and helps exonerate the wrongly accused man who spent 20 years in prison for the crime.

4. The Deadly Playdate

Uncovering the identity of the person who killed an 8-year-old girl, taunting police in Fort Wayne, Indiana for decades after with notes and threats.

5. The Phantom of Ramsey Street

CeCe helps uncover the identity of a serial rapist through genetic genealogy.

6. The Hot Case

In the season finale, CeCe works her first active case, the rape of a 79-year-old woman that happened just three weeks prior. Also, regarding an earlier cold case on which she worked, CeCe sees the first jury trial conviction.

Overview

Investigative genetic genealogist CeCe Moore uses her unique research skills to transform the face of crime solving. By working with police departments and crime scene DNA, Moore is able to trace the path of a violent criminal's family tree to reveal their identity and help bring them to justice.
