2. Grab the Money and Run!

It doesn't add up for MacBride when the couple he's pursuing for failure to file an income tax return determinedly elude him. The only charge against them won't land them in jail—but fleeing from a Federal marshal will.

3. The Great Train Robbery

When a stripping thief picks up an eccentric crack shot, McBride gives chase. The pair lead him on a merry chase due to the fact that they can't agree where they're going.

4. The Ballad of Lucas Burke

A hideously disfigured serial bank robber is a dead ringer for a prison escapee named Lucas Burke. The only trouble is, Burke's supposed to be dead.

5. Hitwoman

MacBride is kidnapped by a chamelionlike hitwoman who says she was framed for the latest killings by a 'Mr. Rorschach' who hired her for other jobs. And, she tells the Marshal, 'I think Rorschach is one of yours.' (TV Guide)

6. Protection

MacBride and fellow Marshal Lester Villa –Lobos serve as part of the protection detail for a judge whose life has been threatened.

7. Bounty Hunter

"The Beast" escapes prison and McBride is on the case. But each time he gets close, someone else gets there first and scares the murderer away.

8. Twoslip

Four bodies unearthed in a swampy Idaho park are determined to have been dead for at least five years - but one is identified as a man thought to have been in jail for most of that time.

9. Little Odessa

Tit for tat: MacBride gets his man, a Russian mob boss - but the gangster's sons kidnap the Marshal's partner and demand a trade.

10. Snow Orchid

The escape of Leander Booth, a biochemist convicted of espionage, leads MacBride on a twisted trail involving commandos, spies, laser guns, nuclear radiation, orchids, snow globes - and a pie-baking grandmother.

11. Natural Law

Winston tracks a radical conservationist wanted for the murder of a forest ranger.

12. Unprotected Witness

McBride has to get "Sonny Boy" Gabianno to testify at a Mafia Don's trial. The mob wants "Sonny Boy" dead and someone is tipping them off.

Overview

The Marshal is an American action-drama television series that aired on ABC for two brief seasons in 1995. The show starred Jeff Fahey as the title character, a United States Marshal charged with pursuing fugitives across the nation. In 1995, the episode "Hitwoman" was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Sound Editing for a Series.
