Tom Sandee is a bounty hunter. He mistakenly thinks Tate is wanted & is going after him.

When Tetlow (Mort Mills) tries to take her property Mary Hardin (Julie Adams) asks Tate for help.

5. Voices of the Town

Tate is searching for a war criminal guilty of a heinous act, but in the town he lives in now, Frank Turner is a beloved and respected citizen. The townspeople won't let Tate take him without a fight.

6. A Lethal Pride

A man named Arriega hires Tate to hunt down a wanted man.Tate is going to bring the man in but Arriega wants the man brought in dead only.

7. Tigero

Tate is escorting a murderer to jail, but there are a group of brothers who don't plan for him to get there.

8. Comanche Scalps

Amos Dundee with Tate going along is going home to marry his fiance.When they arrive they find that lucy just married Amos's brother. Amos intends to kill him but Comanche's steal her first.

9. Before Sunup

A gang of outlaws shoot up a man badly.Then they make a bet on what time he will die. Tate tries to protect the man before the different oulaws can kill him.

10. The Reckoning

Tate is chasing a killer named King.He becomes sick & the man who he is chasing daughter ends up taking care of him.

11. The Gunfighters

A ranchowner owes his hands a year's wages.He agrees to pay up in cattle, then reneges.They pay Tate to help them collect.

12. Quiet After the Storm

Girl is shot by jealous boyfriend, a lynch mob is after him, Tate is also looking & finds him first at the boy's father's house.

13. The Return of Jessica Jackson

Indians have taken Milo Jackson's wife Jessica & Milo has offered Tate money to get her back.

Overview

Tate is an American Western television series that aired on NBC from June 8 until September 14, 1960. It was created by Harry Julian Fink, who wrote most of the scripts, and produced by Perry Como's Roncom Video Films, Inc., as a summer replacement for The Perry Como Show. Richard Whorf guest starred once on the series and directed the majority of the episodes. Ida Lupino directed one segment.
