In-ok will accept Yeon-doo if she gives up Ha-neul, but she won't. Tae-kyeong asks for Bong-nim's help. Geum-sil takes off after clashing with In-ok.

The family finally shares their grievances. After, In-ok needs time alone, but Yeon-doo manages to find her. Dong-wook runs into Song-i at the café.

In-ok has a change of heart. The families gather to celebrate as Ha-neul makes a joyous debut. Tae-kyeong wants to make the marriage official.

Jun-ha files a child custody suit. His cruel antics enrages Chan-sik, and a family meeting is arranged. Bong-nim reveals Se-jin's father to Yeon-doo.

Chan-sik has Jun-ha in a corner. Tae-kyeong requests a DNA test between Geum-sil and his alleged aunt Echa. Se-jin quickly reports back to Jun-ha.

Geum-sil meets Jun-ha at the memorial park. She can't help but care for him. The family warns Yeon-doo and Tae-kyeong about this change of heart.

Neither Yeon-doo nor family can't stop Tae-kyeong from canceling the adoption. Amid the frenzy, Geum-sil bonds with Jun-ha as she prepares a memorial.

Jun-ha hides his DNA test results from all. Tae-kyeong decides to leave the country to protect his loved ones. Meanwhile, Echa pays a visit to Jun-ha.

In light of Tae-kyeong's past, Echa reveals that Jun-ha was adopted. Crushed, Geum-sil shuts out Jun-ha. Se-jin feels lost after her father collapses.
