Leah hopes to find work quickly in Aston's home town of Dudley, while Chantrelle has accepted a job as a live-in nanny near London, but everything falls into disarray upon their arrival

Leah and Hosanna are met with hostility as they settle in Dudley and the two question if they can build a life in the town when tensions rise.

Leah's life in Dudley is complicated by blossoming romance, Hosanna and Aston take a big step forward, and Chantrelle's big audition unearths alarming truths.

Leah and Hosanna race against the clock on a risky cross-country journey to save Chantrelle, but can they get to a distressed Chantrelle in time?

Leah fights for Shelton on a work trip but may have left it too late, Chantrelle struggles with her trauma, and a confession leaves Hosanna torn.

Overview

Set in 1957, post-Windrush, and amidst the booming decade set alight by promise, the rhythm of rock and roll, swing, Hollywood starlets and fabulous fashion Three Little Birds will introduce Dudley and the rest of the world to gregarious sisters Leah and Chantrelle and their virtuous, bible-loving acquaintance, Hosanna, as they board a cruise ship from Jamaica bound for a new life in Blighty.
