After Marina learns that she has a drum solo at the band's concert, she gives Twist and the rest of the group a preview of her routine, but when she gets too wild during her performance, her drum set breaks, forcing her to scavenge for spare parts.

When the dog Reed is watching runs off, the band decides to help him find it.

4. Loco Legs

Shout is so excited to perform that he develops a case of loco legs.

5. Let's Boogie

Marina, Twist and Shout are having trouble learning a dance that Kiki has choreographed.

6. Quack Shoes

Shout must find an alternative when his tap shoes get sent up the flagpole.

7. Hippity Hop

Marina is disappointed when Melody asks her to wear a bunny suit at a smoothie event.

8. Band Together

Twist cannot decide what instrument he wants to play.

9. Bounce in the House

Twist converts his room into an indoor bounce house after accidentally breaking Marina's drum.

10. Freeze Dance

When Melody has to go to the market, she leaves the band in charge of her smoothie shop.

Kiki's friends must put on their roller skates and help her deliver smoothies to her customers.

Twist wants to perform magic tricks in the upcoming talent show. But he mishears the magic words and all types of craziness unfolds.

Members of the band decide to play country music when Ms. Piccolo asks them to play a different style.

It's a glow-in-the-dark extravaganza when the lights go out.

Shout finds a bugle in his cereal box and after playing all day long he can't fall to sleep Unfortunately neither can the rest of the Fresh Beats.

Twist is practicing his raps for the picnic when he loses his voice.

19. Bubble Blast

Twist creates a machine that makes bubbles, plays music and helps the band clean up the street.

The fresh beat band play Hawaiian instruments.

Overview

The Fresh Beat Band is a children's TV show with original pop songs produced for Nick Jr. The Fresh Beats are Shout, Twist, Marina, and Kiki, described as four best friends in a band who go to music school together and love to sing and dance. The show was filmed at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, California. All episodes follow the same basic structure: ⁕Each episode begins with a song that foreshadows a problem that the band will solve. ⁕The band works together to solve the problem. ⁕When the problem is solved they perform a song with the problem and solution incorporated into the lyrics. ⁕Each episode concludes with a version of The Fresh Beat Band's closing song, "Great Day". ⁕The main characters dance to choreography by Mandy Moore; Sean Cheesman; Chuck Maldonado; Scotty Nguyen; Dreya Weber; Mary Ann Kellogg; Nakul Mahajan; Mihran Kirakosian; Susan Austin and Fred Tallaksen.
